Just a few years ago, the highest price ever paid for an old board was $2,000.00.  Within the last year, the top price ever paid was $5,000.00.  In January 2010, a top price was set at an unprecedented $12,225.00, and currently there are boards being offered for sale at $25,000.00 and as much as $50,000.00.

No other collectable has increased in value so much in such a short period of time.  There has never been a better time to get top dollar for your vintage boards. We offer qualified appraisals for a fee of $50.00.  Each appraisal will include a emailed response listing:

  1. Known information about board (year, make, model, history)
  2. A condition grade and explanation
  3. Current value range
  4. Historical value range
  5. Visual inspection for reproduction parts or fake boards
  6. Information on how best to sell your board or assistance in finding a buyer for your board

We have documented vintage board sales through verified auction sales and private sales for more than 18 years and have the most comprehensive verified sales records in the world.  All appraisals will be performed by Utah Snowboard Museum curator Dennis Nazari with over 29 years experience in snowboard design, production and riding.

With all time high prices comes the opportunist that will “reproduce” vintage boards in hopes that it can be passed off as an original when it is not.  Unfortunately this has been done for several years now.  In addition to the appraisal service listed above, if your board’s authenticity is in question, we can conduct a physical inspection and written authentication for $95.00 plus shipping if necessary. Please contact us first for instructions.

Please see our Condition and Price Guide for an idea of what your board may be worth.

Payments may be made through PayPal. If you are interested, please fill out the form below and we will give you payment instructions.
